Funny films…

I was  rumaging through LoveFilm to find some legitimately interesting films to add to my rentals list… instead of achieving this I became distracted by oddly named films.

Firstly was the unmissable: THE GAY BED & BREAKFAST OF HORROR

I believe this might have well been straight to DVD

“When five quirky gay couples check into the isolated Sahara Salvation Inn, they soon learn that the dreamy bed and breakfast is actually stocked with nightmares. Far away from civilisation (and the big party they all have plans to attend), the couples–lipstick lesbians, a sugar daddy and his ‘trainer’, a power couple, and a folk singer-tomboy pairing–fall prey to the seemingly innocent mother-daughter hoteliers.”

Next up, just down the list – yes both of these are new releases!!!

BACHELOR PARTY IN THE BUNGALOW OF THE DAMNED

To be fair – there isnt even a comical interest or reason to rent it if it wasnt in a Bungalow – it would just sound like a low budget porno.

“Chuck is about to get married, but before that happens, Sammy is going to make sure he has the time of his life. In order to gain access to the ultimate party pad, however, Sammy is obligated to invite prude yet sexually ambiguous caretaker Gordon to take part in the festivities. When the three sexy strippers Sammy hired show up on their doorstep, it appears that the evening has gotten off to the perfect start. But no one expected Chuck’s fiancée to show up, too, and when that happens, all hell breaks loose as the children of the damned come out to play.”

The best out of all of them I felt was below – with the short snappy synopsis:

Join Mr. Tickle for a Fun Day Out !

I feel the 1/2 star rating this film has received is unjust. A Fun Day Out with Mr Tickle – the wait for the film to be delivered and the prospect of this magical outing is surely worth more than 1/2 a star in anticipation?! Perhaps it is the disappointment that meant it got such a harsh rating, sitting for a couple of days waiting for the post – to finally tear open the LoveFilm envelope to then watch a mediocre Mr Men Feature Film – normally you would think 2 stars but the anticipation and extra disappointment dropped it to 1/2 a star. shame!
